Background
Edimax Technology is dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing and
marketing of a broad range of networking solutions. Since Edimax was founded in
Taiwan in 1986, the company has grown to be among Asia’s leading manufacturers of

Edimax’s Taiwan and China based engineering team accounts for over 20% of

Product Range
The comprehensive product range of Edimax consists of the product categories:

All products have been certified by CE, FCC and C-tick emission and in 2003,
Edimax was ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 certifi ed. The 802.11n solutions from Edimax
are additionally Wi-Fi certified. Driver compatibility tests are being performed by
Microsoft, Novell and NSTL. Furthermore, Edimax has entered in partnerships with
several chipset vendors and participates among others in the Wi-Fi alliance and the
Gigabit Ethernet Alliance.
